Typically, applicants are accepted into the resident program after an assessment of their relative strengths and areas needed for growth. Each applicant must complete admissions procedures and demonstrate high motivation and a spirit of cooperation for community living. All prospective participants are asked to visit, have a personal interview, and attend an orientation at the PIRP facilities in Tumacacori, Arizona.
Participants are accepted into the Integration Program on the basis of their experiential qualifications and potential. Personal references are required for each participant as a part of the evaluation in the admission process. New participants are accepted throughout the year. The Personality Integration Rehabilitation Program for Teens, Young Adults, & Adults admits participants of any race, color, religion, national, and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to all participants. If you are a social service agency referring an applicant to us for rehabilitation and education or vocation to our program, we ask that your organization or family can help sponsor them, as we are not just a housing rescue mission but a complete holistic rehabilitation program that provides for the applicant's total healing and life necessities.
